国際バカロレア（IB）のDP候補校に認定されました
Kaichi Tokorozawa Primary and Secondary School（1） is a Candidate School* for the Diploma Programme (DP) . This school is pursuing authorization as an IB World School. These are schools that share a common philosophy—a commitment to high quality, challenging, international education that Kaichi Tokorozawa Primary and Secondary School believes is important for our students.
*Only schools authorized by the IB Organization can offer any of its four academic programmes: the Primary Years Programme (PYP), the Middle Years Programme (MYP), the Diploma Programme (DP) or the Career-related Programme (CP). 開智所沢小・中等教育学校（2）は、国際バカロレア（IB）Diploma Programmeの候補校（※）です。本校は、IBワールドスクール（ＩＢ認定校）としての認定に向けた申請段階にあります。IBワールドスクールは、「質の高い、チャレンジに満ちた国際教育に信念をもって取り組む」という理念を共有する学校です。開智所沢小・中等教育学校も、このような教育に取り組むことが、生徒にとって大切であると信じています。
国際バカロレア機構より認定を受けた学校のみが、国際バカロレア機構の提供する4つのプログラムである「初等教育プログラム（PYP）」、「中等教育プログラム（MYP）」、「ディプロマプログラム（DP）」、「キャリア関連プログラム（CP）」を導入することができます。候補校であることは認定を保証するものではありません。国際バカロレア機構および国際バカロレア機構の提供するプログラムに関する詳細は www.ibo.org をご確認ください。
（1）Kaichi Tokorozawa Primary School and Kaichi Tokorozawa Secondary School are the official names approved by Saitama Prefecture respectively. We applied to the International Baccalaureate Organisation to treat the primary and secondary schools as integrated schools, and we applied under the name Kaichi Tokorozawa Primary and Secondary School.
（2）開智所沢小学校・開智所沢中等教育学校のそれぞれが埼玉県から認可を受けた正式名称です。国際バカロレア機構へは、小学校と中等教育学校を一貫校という扱いで申請するために、開智所沢小学校・中等教育学校という名称で申請しました。
